Linux MCE Remote gone hinky

Shocked
Hi all,

Noticed a problem recently with both OpenELEC and XBMCbuntu where my MCE remote does not work after boot, current workaround is unplugging and then plugging back in the receiver but this is far from ideal. At first I thought it could be an issue with OpenELEC but its also happening with XBMCbuntu.

Remote is a Philips SRM5100.

Any ideas what could be causing this? Anyone else experiencing this issue? Could it be XBMC that's the problem? Or maybe LIRC?

Cheers

I have the same issue with my Revo. Even unplugging and plugging back didn't help.

I think its something to do with the order in which XBMCbuntu and OpenELEC initialize USB during boot. I've also got two PCI TV tuners that are fundamentally just USB tuners with a USB to PCI bridge chip and they appear to be experiencing a similar problem.
