Linux Nvidia: Video break up when skiping
#1
When skip forward or back video get pixelated for 1/10th second, can't remember it happen before I upgraded to 12.04?

Code:
NVRM version: NVIDIA UNIX x86 Kernel Module  295.40  Thu Apr  5 21:28:09 PDT 2012
GCC version:  gcc version 4.6.3 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.3-1ubuntu5)

Linux xbmc 3.2.0-24-generic #37-Ubuntu SMP Wed Apr 25 08:43:52 UTC 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

How to downgrade video driver from let say 295.40 to 290.10?
Or better yet, safely switch/try out between different video drivers?

I have observed pixelation when skipping but only with interlaced content. This did go away after update of ffmpeg post-Eden.
