How are you liking the ASRock A75M motherboard? I just ordered the same one from Newegg.

I'm adding an AMD A8-8370K, 8 GB G.Skill 1600 RAM and WD 500GB Hard drive. Not the fasted drive, but had to cut costs and will get a SSD later...

Fantastic build dmgash, you made your homework Smile

Can't wait to see a boot video and overall fluidness or XBMC's user Interface Smile

I assume you mean the A8-3870K? I got the same processor while it was on sale (after cancelling my 3850 back because I was very indecisive and it wasn't shipping). I'm using the same motherboard and it seems good, I'm a noob but had no problems putting my system together and configuring it.

HTPC 1 - AMD A8-3870K, ASRock A75M, Silverstone ML03B, Kingston HyperX 4GB DDR3 1866, Crucial M4 64GB SSD
HTPC 2 - HP Stream Mini, 6GB Ram
unRAID 6 Server - Intel Celeron G1610, 20TB Storage

SWEET! Big Grin

What a beauty of a build....

Nice to know you are using the BIG 2100 cooler....

Now in bios do this:

My settings on the bios are for the Target CPU temperature is 50c/122F
Target fan speed Level 1
You have to do this to get my temps and speed of fan.

Your RPM's are way up there .....

Mine are at 920RPM while 1080P

and stays at 900 stable.... (idle)

let me know if it works!

The bigger case/mobo with more room for air flow, it tend to run cooler.....with AsRock level 3/50c/Cool N Quiet options, you shouldn't have any problem with noise and temp.....
