Skins used - touched, confluence, re-touched. the latest & current skin is re-touched.

Xbmc iOS app crashes a few minutes after I start playing a 1channel tv stream. I have tried changing multiple skins. That don't solve the problem.

Xbmc app works fine when I'm playing local files on my iPad. 

Is this a hardware problem or a s/w one? Is it because of low amount of RAM on iPad 1?

Any suggestions, help would be most appreciated.

Try to disable the trakt addon

Uninstalled trakt addon.

I then tried streaming a x264 SD mp4 video over my local wifi network using FTP. The desktop on which that video was stored was a mac mini2,1 running OSX Lion.

Xbmc iOS app still crashing.

Xbmc doesn't crash when I play videos locally on my iPad. It also doesn't crash when I stream live tv via ustvnow addon. I keep bandwidth at 400 Kbps

The problem ain't those mentioned addons.

The app is crashing while streaming over local media via FTP as well.
