Hi there. Long time lurker and user, first time poster. I am running XBMC on a Linux install on an old AppleTV 1. I am using Crystalbuntu 2. Now before you dismiss me to their forums, I have posted there as well. However, this seems like an XBMC issue to me.
The issue I'm having is when I try to update my library XBMC will crash or hang. This only happens when the Library is updating TV Shows. Updating Movies works flawlessly.
Some info about my setup:
Mac server sharing via AFP
TV Shows and Movies on external disks (Thunderbolt and Firewire respectively)
ATV1 160Gb with harddrive install of CB2 and CrystalHD card (the better one)
wired Gigabit ethernet at both ends
CB2 updated with the following installs: afpfs-ng-utils (0.8.1-2), gdb
I can connect to my sources just fine through the file manager and through the video library. As soon as I press menu and scan for new content, it freezes and crashes. It also crashes if I update from the web interface.
