That will take more work yet. I want to build some foundations first.

jmarshallnz just pulled the first set of changes into master today (thanks!). That will give us proper compilation flag support in MP3s and speed up the artist views a lot, plus if you use multiple artist tags in your MP3s etc you should see all your artists in the views :-)

Just a message to say having MBID in there will be a huge bonus.

It's the defacto standard for identifying artists now for many 3rd party sites and some awesome scrapers can be developed if its made available from xbmc dbs.
