Linux Video Calibration Constantly Resets

Compiling against your source fixed the calibration issue for me - and also a crash on closedown I'd had for a few days. Many thanks for that.

Choose unstable dev snapshot or compile from source.

Still see the problem here after recompiling from source (59d5142 2012-07-28 16:07:30). After setting calibration, guisettings.xml is updated. Upon exiting, it is still correct, but on startup, settings are wiped and I have to reapply.

Is there not a single resolution in guisettings after restart? can you post your guisettngs after exit?

If I do:

Code:
alex@mythtv ~/.xbmc/userdata $ cp -a guisettings.xml guisettings.xml.working

and then stop xbmc, file is identical. If I start xbmc:

Code:
alex@mythtv ~/.xbmc/userdata $ diff -u guisettings.xml guisettings.xml.working

So has anyone found a solution to this yet?
I've just installedthe latest xbmcfreak iso (11.9) and it's the first time I've encountered the video calibration reseting. It's sooooo annoying!

It's soooooo fixed already. Ping the "iso" provider to update his code then...

I am having this same issue, but I'm a bit of an amature and don't understand anything in this thread.

I installed XBMCbuntu, as downloaded from XBMC.org... Is there any way I can run an update to fix the issue?

I also don't know which drivers I'm using. I've installed XBMC onto a ASRock A75M-ITX FM1 AMD A75 box.

Its 5 years later and I am still having this same problem with Krypton 17 Fresh Install on multiply machines using multiple televisions. Surely someone has fixed this by now.
