Hi all sorry for the dumbness but I'd just like to gather opinions on the best install for my acer revo. I have installed windows 7 ultimate and was wondering how should I install xbmc?

Do I boot it off a USB drive with xbmcbuntu or install it directly onto my windows desktop?

Directly on your Windows install is probably what you want.

Xbmcbuntu is kind of a replacement for your OS (Windows). But you already have that.
Like if you did not want to buy Windows. Or if you are not using a hard drive (boot from USB and get files from cloud/NAS, ect).
