Random crashing during playback
#1
Good day,

For a while now i have been having an annoying problem with XBMC.

During playback it crashes, and i get a windows error (APPCRASH). I have to close xbmc, and restart. I have not been able to find a pattern at all, and they seem to happen at random. I have also been searching around trying to find other people who had similar issues, but have had little success in solving the problem.

I did some snooping in my log and I think the following section is where the issue is:

Code:
14:41:27 T:2516   DEBUG: CDVDPlayerAudio:: Discontinuity - was:1697430059.166330, should be:1697440062.941991, error:10003.775661

Full log can be found here.

I use a seperate PC for playback on my TV. All my files are stored on a seperate, (wired) networked PC. I have been playing with the energy settings on my host pc to see if that has an effect, thinking energy saving mode could be the issue, but without any result.

Anyone who can help me in the right direction? Im currently out of ideas Sad.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

A bump with two new additions:

In this instance, XBMC crashed when it was just idle:

20:06:19 T:1716   DEBUG: ------ Window Deinit () ------

Still having the same issue:

I did a little digging in the dmp file XBMC created, but it doesnt lead me to any new insights. Maybe someone recognises this issue?
