When I use XBMC with my 2007 MacBook Pro, I have the option to use advanced upscaling algorithms such as Lanczos2 and Spline36 but when I run XBMC on my 2007 Mac Mini, I only have the option of bilinear scaling. Is there any way to make the advanced (and imo much better) upscaling algorithms available with my Mac Mini?

i guess its bound to the used gpu - so no.
