I've translated a load of popular artists recently. XBMC users can change the settings in the universal scrapers to get their preferred language.

As always if something is missing you can add a translation from wikipedia yourself.

Here's the current list of completed artists http://www.theaudiodb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=207

Myself and a few other users have been working hard on translations recently.

We still need help so if you speak one of the supported languages please help copying data from wikipedia.

The XBMC Universal Audio scrapers now all support the Languages English, German, Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Portugese, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Hungarian, Hebrew, French, and Polish

I wanted to add another release to an artist yesterday but I got an error "The artist does not exist yet. Cannot add album."

Specifically:

I wanted to add "Wish (Komm zu mir)" to the artist "Thomas D".

It's this artist: http://www.theaudiodb.com/artist/123019

And this release: http://musicbrainz.org/release-group/465...4868d07cff

Could it be, because there is another artist involved in the release (Franka Potente)?

Any help how I can add the release? I have the music video for the track and the scraper can't find it.

And off-topic: This thread is VERY deeply hidden in the forums and I could only find it through searching the forum with google. I would have never expected a thread about a database in the "artwork packs" section of "skin help and support." I'd place it somewhere more prominent to get a bigger involvement of the community.

Not seeing too many uploads of these extra image types which is a shame Sad

They could make some awesome views in Kodi:

Can I ask all TADB users to start rating albums and tracks on the site?

If enough people get interested in this feature, then we may possibly be able to get a Kodi Add-on that syncs your ratings just like the current Trakt.tv Add-on does.

This would mean you could rate tracks out of 10 and have a cloud backup, just in case you lost your library or something.

It also helps other users choose the best albums and songs.

Just sign in to TADB and start clicking on the star ratings, or the love button (to automatically rate something 10). You can rate any album or track in the database.

New "Themes" support for Albums

Also implemented in the latest scrapers thanks to Olympia Smile

NOTE: TADB only allows for one theme just like moods and styles. This should allow you to use smart playlists and nodes with it very easily.
