Hey all, I have a xbmc/serve box in the "man cave" part of the garage. I built it last fall and had no issues with it until a week ago when the temps in the midwest got 95+ for a few days. My Hard drives were getting too hot which I know is horrible for the life of the drive. I dont know much about fans as every other system ive built has come with them and have been no problem

now im ok with it being loud but id like to slow the fan during the colder months. Is there a way to control the speed of the fans?

I have the antec 300 case with plenty of fan space built in now I just need to right ones.

Do you have an open 5.25" bay in your 300?

If so something like this

would be a good option for your case and would allow you to control multiple fans.

If memory serves me correctly the Antec 300 has 2 in the front, 1 up top and 1 in the rear. So that controller would allow you to control all of them if needed.
