Intel G620/G630 owners, quick linux playback question
#1
For anyone with one of these processors running under linux (not interested in windows performance). Are these capable of 1080P h264 playback either with full software rendering or with the built-in gpu? Also, can they pull off 1080P flash videos in linux? I've googled for a while not able to fine definitive answers from people who own and use these. I'm looking into building a thin mini-itx system (This case http://www.missingremote.com/review/lian...tx-chassis ) and these save a good bit of money over an i3. Thanks!

I'm also interested in building one of these, so if anyone had the answer it would be great. Smile

The processors definitely have enough power to CPU or GPU render 1080p H.264, even the G530. I guess the question is with driver support.

Well I have a G620t and with Openelec I can play my encoded blu-rays (mkv) or full blu-rays (m2ts) and remuxes (mkv).
