how come when i look at the information that displays dvxa2 or other features. dvd iso isn't using any hardware acceleration? why does xbmc drop frames when playing dvd iso?

aslo figured out what the strange issue i was having with fastforward. it only does it if it's at 16x speed.

are you using AE? perhaps you should try to output sound via DirectSound then. I noticed dropping frames with WASAPI too.
