Under Win 7
Got "access denied" error when I try to edit & save "Font.xml"
Path to "Font.xml:"
C:\Program Files\XBMC\addons\skin.confluence\720p

How to Fix it ? I just want to increase the Font size of the RSS ticker on xbmc "home Screen"

If you have user account control enabled the file will be read only. Launch your editor by right clicking on the icon (in the Start menu or on the desktop) and choosing "Run as administrator". That will give you write access to the file.

Alternate would be to copy the skin from the system directory you're currently finding it in to your C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\XBMC folder, then change the name in addon.xml to skin.myconfluence or similar, and then mod your own local copy - you can work in here without admin provilieges and also be sure your work won't get over-written when you update XBMC etc.
