Hello,

first of al, congratulations to th developpers.
I was a havy Mediaportal/Windows user (4 years long) and switched 4 days ago to XMCbuntu.
Fabulous, stable, simple...

Can anyone help me with configuring extra buttons on remote control ?

As described in the wike (http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Rem...s#VRC-1100), I have the cheap Unbranded MCE remote.

Most of the things work, but I cant get some buttons to work.
Fe, I need a contextMenu button to play DVDs from main folder (which were not recognised by Movies/scraper) from a colored button.

I tried a lot of things as you find in google:
1. make an user keyboard file in ~/.xbmc/userdata/keymaps/keybord.xml
2. changed /home/ubuntu/.xbmc/userdata/keymaps/keyboard.xml
3. chenged /home/ubuntu/keyboard.xml
4. changes some lircd.conf file

But that didn't work. I always did the changes + reboot.

In debug mode when I press my button to configure I see:

I suppose following files loaded:

Please can someone help me figuring out what to change to get the ContextMenu after this button ?

Anyone ??
STill no solution after a whole day trying.

The only thing that xbmc does when hitting the colored buttons on the remote control is :
it opens a terminal window (4 colored buttons, 4 different terminals).

I have no idea where he is getting this commands.
