Linux video settings question
#1
When I watch movies through xbmc, xbmc autocrops the screen size to the tv, the problem is that it doesn't always do it right. Often times throughout the movie, especially during dark scenes, xbmc will try to adjust the screen size which gives me alot of zooming around for a few seconds. Also when a movie has written intro's, such as star wars, xbmc can't seem to figure out what the screen size should be and usually cuts off alot of the wording. Any advice on fixing this?

Did you by any chance set a non-zero value for the option "Allowed error in aspect ratio to minimize black bars"?

This is located in: System > Settings > Video > Playback

I did have that option turned to something like 15%, however when I turned it to none the problem still occurred
