Linux XBMC crash when try to play DTS-Audio track {12.0-alpha3}
#1
I have the following issue when i try to start a DTS-Audio track the xbmc player crashes and auto restarts.
Everything else for e.g. DTS-HD Master audio and Dolby TrueHD work fine.
DTS Output for DVD/B-RAY work fine

is there a workaround to play DTS-Audio or is there a fix scheduled.

when trying 3 different albums it looks like it is interpreting the DTS channel as 2 (6 channels, 44100Hz, 14bit LE, period: 1024) shouldn't this be 16-bit instead 14 ?

latest Debug Log can be found here:

My Configuration:

- GeForce 430
- 4GB RAM
- AMD 605E 2.4Ghz

Is there a possibility to use the DVD engine instead of the audio interpreter ?

updated to alpha4 playback is working but timer is going very fast (speed times 2) playback is normal but when the total time elapsed reaches the time of the regular length the playback stops.

there is progress but the fix is not final at the moment.....

great progress though :-)
