VC-1 stutter with new computer
#1
I'm getting the old VC-1 stutter problem with high bitrate 1080p videos especially with my new computer, like I did on my old computer.

Old PC:

2.61GHZ
4gb RAM
Nvidea (Forget card)

New PC:

4.1GHZ
2GB Ram (I haven't had time to upgrade this)
GeForce 550 GTX Ti (1gb) with latest drivers

Pretty bummed that I went for overkill to have this problem remain. Hooked up to a HX82355 Sony 3D Active Bravia. BTW I cannot get 3D BR's to work with this setup either, yet.

Is the RAM the problem? I'm on 64bit windows 7 and it uses 50-60% sitting idle.

50%-60% idle? Only running XBMC? I was going to suggest enabling DXVA, but I think that would only help while playing a movie. Video drivers up to date? How's the CPU while not running XBMC? Got your chipset drivers and all the others for your MoBo?
