Win Unable to cache some thumbnails / actor images

Hello

For a part of my movie collection I'm using custom made nfo-files. Some of the thumbnails or actor images used are stored on a local Synology NAS, using the Synology photo album package Photo station.

However, XBMC is not capable of caching a few of the images stored on the NAS. Most of the images will be cached into XBMC correctly, but for others I receive error messages in the debug log like

When checking the URLs in browsers like Firefox, they work perfectly.

I'm currently using the nightly builds, but I have been observing this behaviour for some time now, possibly even in the official Eden release.

Please advice.

If it can't do a stat() then it can't cache the image - it might a problem with XBMC not responding to the server. We won't be able to troubleshoot this ourselves - you'd need to run a debug build and check what is happening in CCurlFile.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.

I'm getting a similar issue as cactus99. Did you ever come up with a solution?? This same block of log happens about every minute or so...

That's 100% unrelated. It also doesn't happen in master anymore.
