Win How To Change Unix User\Nobody owner
#1
I have a WD World Book network drive with my movies and other files on it and XBMC NFS has now assigned the owner as Unix User/Nobody. I now have read only permissions for these files and cannot change owners using any of my Windows 7 computers. I don't really want to use NFS, but it seems I have accidently started it. I had just hooked up an ACER Revo with Windows 7 to my TV (downstairs) and was using XBMCbuntu, and then installed XBMC directly to the Acer. While setting up the library searches, I clicked NFS once--I think that changed the file owners. Can someone help me regain ownership of the network files using Windows 7? I don't really now anything about Unix.
