Http streams

Hi, my PC streams live TV in a http stream from VLC in my local network and i can watch that on any other PC/mobile. How can I watch that in my xbmc live? Is there an add-on or other trick to watch htttp streams?
Thanks,

i searched for http stream in our wiki and the first result was:

http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Int...io_streams

thats a good sign that our wiki is usefull. But still a bad sign that users don't seem to use it Wink

I have seen this wiki - it's actually marked incomplete and also does not explain how to create a STRM file or a sample file.

Take a texteditor and create the strm file. Its only text in there.

Not sure how to write it even clearer:

Quote:Create a normal text-file and rename the .txt extension to .strm then open it up with a text-editor (like Notepad in Microsoft Windows) and input the the direct URL-link of the stream.
