Even stammie,

Hope all is ok on the homefront.

Thanx for the info. I will probably go for something like that for test purposes but wanted to give you the following link.

Australia gets screwed once again.. lol I guess overpaying for things is the norm over here because I only see things getting swept under the rug.

It is kind of late here and need to hit the sack. Be safe for now.

There are many good remote options available depending on your budget,
I just went with the cheapest possible one and have 2 of these for my XBMC machines:-

They are pretty basic but hey they work straight out of the box

Others will have to advise you on the best to get if you want something a bit more complex with more functions.

I have been looking at things like HippoRemote and Eventghost but am a little lost on some of it. I basically want to use it with IE to surf the net. I have installed Advanced Launcher and attached IE to it but since I am running system in "Clone" monitor mode it really doesn't need to go through XBMC at this time because I can just use the TV as the monitor while in the living room.

Not so much a keyboard / mouse but an option that would give you full control of the htpc and use the ipad's native pop-up keyboard is teamviewer
