I have 3 shows in my XBMC android remote app that show incorrectly;
Continuum
Revenge
Suits

All 3 have the same issue; the image is strangely cropped to 10% of the width and there is a black space below them. Therefore the images take up more vertical space than the shows that are working properly.

I already tried to go to settings>apps>xbmc>clear all data

How do I fix this?

ps shows show properly on regular xbmc (latest final) on both wideicon view and thumbnail view.

I found loading them whilst the phone wasnt upright caused them to load a widescreen banner so when the phone was upright it only showed half.

Clear data and make sure ur phone isnt in widescreen mode (Turn auto rotation off) then redownload.
