Streaming contents of DVD drive?
#1
Hi all,

Is it possible to stream contents of unripped DVD disc over the network, directly from the DVD drive, using XBMC as UPnP server?

Current situation:
The DVD drive, as well as some ripped movies on local HD, is listed by XMBC in Video library and can be played locally.
UPnP server is enabled on this XBMC instance: I'm able to connect to it from a UPnP client (such as Windows Media Player or VLC) and list the library - except the movie in the DVD drive.

Is it possible to expose DVD drive via UPnP?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. Some details:
Platform: Windows 7 Ent.
XBMC version: 11.0 Eden, build 20120321.

Nope. XBMC only lists videos that have been scanned into the library, and it can't do that with the DVD drive.
