I have set up SMBUp as it should be but I can not find it when I search smb on xbmc. If I type in smb://192.168.0.17/ I can find the shared drive but I can't select just the movies part and just the TV part. Any help would be appreciated.

i have found that for quiet some time now, the smb search feature across the os i tried doesnt work so well.

instead i "add network location" i think its called and enter the ip/hostname + access credentials manually.

if you have multiple shares per host, you only need to add the root host as a share, and for each "add source" that you need, click on the hostname added, then select the sub folder/sub-share.(assuming you use same credentials per share on same host)
