Is it possible to literally add a Smart Playlist directly in a TV Show in Library Mode so you see:
Show 1
Season 1
Season 2
Smart Playlist

Looking at the wiki the way it read was that it should be possible? Can you create an NFO to force a playlist to show?
or is the Smart Playlist only directly available via the 'Playlists' section?

In library view, I don't believe that's possible. It might be possible in file view if the playlist file itself is in the TV show folder.

It might be possible but would involve quite a bit of mucking around and would be brittle.

In master you can place smart playlists in the hierarchy but putting then inside the TV shows or movies node is not really supported. You can redefine the overview nodes though.
