Screensaver won't start
#1
I'm using the Aeon Nox skin and can't get the screensaver to work. Screensaver preview also does not work.

I have no clue how to track down the problem. Can anyone help?

Have you tried switching to the default Confluence skin to see if the same problem occurs?

  • What are your settings on the System > Settings > Appearance > Screensaver page?
  • What are your settings on the System > Settings > System > Power savings page?

  1. Switch to (or stay on) the Confluence skin
  2. Enable debug log (wiki)ging in XBMC
  3. Go to System > Settings > Appearance > Screensaver and select Preview
  4. Exit XBMC and locate your debug log (wiki) (xbmc.log)
  5. Upload the log to www.pastebin.com or www.xbmclogs.com and post the URL link for the uploaded log here with your reply

Looks like you have joystick activity that is deactivating the screensaver (reactivating the screen)?

I don't have a joystick. I use MCE Remote + EventGhost.

Let me try stopping EG and just using the keyboard....
