I have been following this guide for setting up tvheadend / hdhomerun in xbmcbuntu (eden): https://www.lonelycoder.com/redmine/boar...opics/3368
I have got to the following instruction but there is no adapter available to select:
click "Configuration", click "TV Adapters"
Select an adapter in dropdown list;
I beleive that my hdhomerun is being detected OK:
ls /dev/dvb/ -l
total 0
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 100 2012-09-04 22:57 adapter0
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 100 2012-09-04 22:57 adapter1
I did have a couple of issues with the guide - namely initially being unable to log in to tvheadend - resolved here: https://www.lonelycoder.com/redmine/boar...opics/2670
I have tried to resolve my problem with the following script to start things in the right order: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=127803
My last step was to reboot and issue these commands:
sudo userhdhomerun -f
sudo service dvbhdhomerun-utils start
sudo service tvheadend restart
This allowed my system log status in tvheadend to change as follows:
There seems to be a problem with the live update feed from Tvheadend. Trying to reconnect...
Reconnected to Tvheadend
Sep 04 22:58:44 AVAHI: Service 'Tvheadend' successfully established.
Even at this point I could not select an adapter in tvheadend.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am happy to provide additional information if it will help.
