I've got a set of "best presets" from the Ryan Geiss website. They play while I'm listening to music from my collection or Pandora. I like many of the presets, some not so much...

Is there an OSD I can open to determine what preset is playing and in that way remove ones i don't like?

Is there another way I might achieve my goal of removing/modifying presets I don't care for?

TIA

There's a few buttons in the right bottom corner of the fullscreen music player which allow you to select a preset or set up the viz. To add/remove presets you must edit the .zip file which contains the list of presets.
System: XBMC HTPC with HDMI WASAPI & AudioEngine - Denon  AVR-3808CI  - Denon DVD-5900 Universal Player  - Denon DCM-27 CD-Changer
- Sony BDP-S580 Blu-Ray  - X-Box 360  - Android tablet wireless remote - 7.1 Streem/Axiom/Velodyne Surround System

Thanks DDDamian. I guess I need a little more handholding...

What do you mean the fullscreen music player? When I'm playing music I get coverart, the artist, the song and it fades away. Nothing left but the visualization. Perhaps there is a keyboard command like "m" when watching a movie to open some kind of OSD?

No that is the fullscreen player. See the Wiki for keyboard/remote commands. The information displayed is skin-dependant, but what you're describing in the fullscreen player.
