Hi I'm new around here and have read the guides in the sticky but I am still unsure as to what I am after or really need. I currently have a Synology DS210J which I purchased a couple of years ago which is all I needed for a place to store all my TV shows and movies and stream them from computers on my network. I have used usenet for a while but using GrabIt and manually repairing, extracting and sorting until I wanted to automate this process and found sabnzbd+, Sickbeard and Couchpotato which lead me here. I've tried installing these on my NAS but it is constantly at 100% CPU when I have Sickbeard running and it is currently near full capacity and will need upgraded soon.
So I now had the idea to create a media server which does all this and will eventually add a HTPC with XBMC later on as my parents have asked for a simpler way to watch films from it as well. I already have 2x 1.5TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 drives in my NAS and would like to use the data I already have stored on them.
Any suggestions for a basic media server which will run be able to run sabnzbd+, sickbeard and couchpotato?
