I installed XBMC in my desktop (P4 -2.8Ghz, 768MB RAM, Nvidia 5200 card) on top of Xubuntu and it runs like butter
. I am sure it can run as a default os (Xbmcubuntu) even better. But i really want to built my own HTPC just for XMBC so that I can watch the whole interface in my Led TV. After some googling i have found few hardwares that i can buy. Can someone please take a look and it and let me know if these are good or if there are anything else that i should buy.
Few things i want your help in.
1. Not too expense hardware.
2. Need support to play full HD and 3D movies (I know by default most Motherboards dont have the ability to play 3d. Just let me know if the mother can support a 3D card and i will but the card later).
3.USB 3.0 support
4.HDMI out.
5.Smaller cabinet.

Btw i have 2 android mobile devices where i would like to view the contents directly from the HTPC and a Xbox 360 and a smart tv with dlna. I would like to access the HTPC through all.
