Hi!

My computer shutdowns when XBMC has been paused for a while or after a video has been played and it is idle. Computer works good when not using XBMC and idle, and pause in Media Player Classic for example.

Has anyone experienced the same problem?

Try the following settings:

• System/Settings/System/Power saving. Set the first two options to "Off"; set the third to either "Quit" or "Minimize".
  
• System/Settings/Appearance/Screensaver. Set "Screensaver mode" to "None".
  

If your system still shuts down after these changes, then enable debug log (wiki)ging in XBMC and let your system sit until it powers off on its own. Restart your system and locate your debug log (wiki) (xbmc.log), upload it to www.xbmclogs.com and post the URL for the uploaded log here with your reply.

I think the problem is your OS (pm settings), not XBMC...
