xbmcbuntu 11 + 10-foot experience + Firefox
#1
Hi all,
xbmcbuntu + zotac nd22 + Panasonic TH-P50ST50A (50") + HDMI video and audio all running ok.
Firefox has been installed and I have added Advanced Launcher to run it.

My problem is that the screen presented when I run Firefox does not sit properly on the TV.
That is I can't see the top menus etc.
I have tried to resize but can't manage to get it.
Also the fonts are very small.
I imagine that the window size has to do with the windows manager being told how big the screen is.
I guess the size of the fonts can be tweaked in the Firefox preferences.
Am I on the right track ?

Any advice on setting up the 10-foot experience for Firefox would be appreciated.

cheers,
dg

Are you running XBMC standalone or are you launching XBMC from the XBMCbuntu desktop? If running standalone (system boots directly into XBMC with no window manager), see this recent thread:

as for the tiny fonts, i'd recommend you install this firefox addon:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...zoom-page/
Do not PM or e-mail Team-Kodi members directly asking for support.
Always read the Forum rules, Kodi online-manual, FAQ, Help and Search the forum before posting.
