Hopefully an easy question for someone in the know, I've done a search but have not been able to find an answer. I've just been trying out the latest nightly (9th September) and have noticed the 'Adjust display refresh rate to match video' setting has changed. Instead of 'On' or 'Off', it now has the options 'On start/stop' or 'Always' or 'Off'.

Could well be me being a bit slow (!), but I can't figure out what the difference between 'Always' and 'On start/stop' is!


EDIT: Forgot to mention, this is using the Windows build!

I believe the new options are so that the refresh rate doesn't change if you toggle back into the GUI/file/library views. I think "on start/stop" will only change the refresh rate back to normal when the movie is stopped, and "always" is the original behavior. I think.

You are right, I've just tested and that is how it behaves!!
