I meant in comparison to the existing title-based scrapers, if it's not in the db, it's not in the db, except now you have a fallback. For example, maybe your copy has a German and a French track, but only the French and English tracks are in the db. The German track fails, but the French track hits. Now the next person who tries to identify the track only has to wait for one try, since the db now has identification of English, French, and German.
If you were using a title search in a similar scenario, once the German track misses, you're out of options.
You are right that in such a case it would take longer to identify, but there's some room to optimize. For example, I'd say the majority of movies/tv shows will have an English track, so I'd start with that first.
