I just purchased an Acer Revo RL70 with Windows 7 Home x64. I installed XBMC Eden and EventGhost (and uninstalled Windows Media Center). I've set up EventGhost as best I could, but the remote that comes with the Revo doesn't quite work right for some reason. I can't get the keyboard on the back of the remote to work at all and every button press of the remote seems like it's a daunting process. Like I have to press the button hard or multiple times in order for it to send the command to the Revo - simple directional commands, even.

Has anyone gotten this remote to work with XBMC perfectly? Or has everyone who's purchased a Revo, simply purchased a different remote?

I even tried using this method which looks quite nice, but didn't seem to help my Revo's remote unfortunately.
