Organizing Media Collection
#1
I use Ember Media Manager to manage my XBMC media collection from there. It downloads cover art, fan art, media information and is a great tool. However, when I load up XBMC for Windows 7 and add my media share, it goes ahead and downloads all of that work anyways. (Missing the hard work that I put into organizing my media collection with Ember Media Manager)

All of my fan art, cover art and .tbn files are located next to each file name on my media drive. Is Is there any way to resolve this so that when I load up XBMC all of my organized media?

Thanks,

What does your fold/file structure look like?

HTPC: Win10 (cause Steam), i7, GTX 1080
Watching on: Panasonic TC65-PS64 with lowend Sony 5.1 HTIB
Other devices: rMBP 15", MBA 13", nvidia shield

All files in one folder. The file names are "Movie Title.mkv" and the .jpg and .tbn files follow that same naming convention.

Putting each movie in its own folder will help a lot.

Yeah, if u want save possible problems and want all the goodies, make a folder for each movie, and a folder for each series and for each season inside.
There are programs that make it bulk mode for u.
HTPC
Silverstone Grandia GD05 - Intel i5 3570k -Asus H61M-G Micro-ATX - Unidad Blu-ray
MSI GTX970 4GB GDDR5 - 8 GB RAM DDR3 - AVR Denon X3400H Atmos - LG  OLED 55C7V
