Hi there!

I have a problem while viewing movies. I can watch from about 10 seconds and up to a few minutes until the playback stops and throws me out to the movie selection screen again.
This happens with many different videofiles so the file itself is not the problem.

All videos are being played from my server

Computer specs:
HTPC:AMD E-450 with ssd-drive and 8Gb memory running Windows 7 64bit
Server: Intel i3 with ssd-drive/sata-drives and 16Gb memory running Ubuntu Server 12.04

XBMC Version:
12.0 Alpha4 Git:20120723-9936f91
I also got this problem on stable release

Have you tried copying one of these movies to your XBMC system's local drive and playing it from there? If so, does video playback also stop after a few seconds or minutes?

I´m gonna try that tonight. My first thought is that the connection between my server and htpc is lost and because of that the video stops.
