I am building up another machine to use as my backup media center for another room in my house, and i seem to be having an issue with movies playing from my file server. My other computer can view and play the movies just fine, but not this one. The interesting fact is that this new computer can play the videos with VLC over the LAN, but not through XBMC. I did try a beefier graphics card, but that didn't change anything. I'm trying a reinstall now, but what could be the issue here?
