I am a noob... But from what I understand the drivers on the first page do not work on the latest DSM? Is this correct?

Hi aisman,
I installed the version in the link above on my DS411j, but the new version does not recognise my TV stick anymore. The previous version 3.18.. did recognise the same stick. What could be wrong?

Hi!

Did you try the new release 3.4 of synocommunity? How does it work? Is there the same problem? Anyway, fresh master.

Same Problem here.

With 3.5.96 everything works fine. With .201 No hardware present!

I'm using Sundtek DVB-C Stick.

Correction:

After a deinstallation and a fresh new installation, the hardware is present!

Thanks for your work!

As I said above, after a fresh start, the hardware is present and everything works.

But an update from Version .96 to 201 isn't working. And most sadly downgrading back to .96, too.

Because of that I had to start over.

I hoped that the upgrade to Version .201 is improving HD CPU Usage of descrambled channels. But nothing changed. Still 99% at HD and between 5% and 8% at SD.

In order not to do all over again, save the "var" folder from /volume1/@appstore/tvheadend to any place, so after next installation you'll just copy the settings and enjoy Smile

As for the CPU - until then I can not do anything, waiting for code updates.

Hi Aisman,

You every found the time to build a x86 version with hdhomerun support?
Would be nice to use the hdhomerun on my ds412+.

edit:

Found some info on other forums that no one has made i so far to compile for x86 based devices. So i think i will send my ds412+ back and order a 413 because tvheadend is available for this device. only question is the hdhomerun also available for the ds413?

Regards,

MarQuez

Hi, MarQuez,

Unfortunately I can't answer for sure, but I have 413 + with ppc. The fact is that I don't have any DVB, and I can't test this. Also I know that hdhomerun + tvheadend = pain.

If someone tested the combination of a 413 + hdhomerun tuner can the tell if they had success with this.

Last thing i could do is sell my hdhomerun and buy or 2 sundtek dvb-c usb sticks which should work out of the box with tvheadend.

Would be perfect combi synology nas and pvr in one device.
