hi, im running openelec 2.0 beta 7 64bit with aeon nox 3.6 and im seeing my system completely hang whenever i press the skip button during playback for a movie with no chapters, i can reproduce this every time.

things i have tried with no result:-

1. disable my tweaks in advancedsettings.xml
2. reboot
3. different movie/tv episode
4. roll back to aeon nox 3.5

here is the content of my debug log:-

i have tried confluence skin and the problem is not present, it just correctly dumps me back to xbmc main screen with the normal "no items in playlist" message.

any ideas?

try this defaults.xml. overwrite the one in your 1080i skin folder.
also try out deactivating next aired script and all other service plugins if you have installed some.

hi phil, just gave this a go, it didnt fix the issue im afraid, im assuming this is the same fix as posted earlier regards context menu causing xbmc to hang?, this is a separate issue, and i think its actually a long standing issue with aeon nox, at least for openelec users, im assuming this is not causing an issue for non openelec xbmc users?.

any other suggestions?

This is not a debug of skipping a video file. Please upload the correct log so we can track down whats causing this.

I could reproduce it on Openelec. Copy this file in 1080i folder, overwriting the existing one, to fix.
Sadly I already send a pr to repo so this fix wont be in 3.6.1.

Awesome! fix works perfectly! I know you said it won't make 3.6.1 but I'm guessing this will get included in version 4? For now I will just have to remember to overwrite if I ever need to re download. Thanks big_noid you've made my day :-)
