I bought a used htpc and it had xbmc ubuntu im not used to ubuntu so I was trying to load windows..about 30% of load it stop and says my Harddrive is not ntfs to make thing short I keep on shutting my pc off by holding the power botton lots of time and now it powers up for 10 sec and shuts off after...I know its still on because the zalmans name is still lignts on..please help..

You need the serious help of a personal tech,
the person who you bought it from? or some Geek Squad service.

Try putting the hard drive in another computer and format it there as NTFS, then put it back into the normal computer. If that doesn't work, then yeah, something else is really messed up on it.

If you have a windows 7 dvd, then load it and proceed to fresh installation. There is option to format the hdd.
