Aeon Nox 3.6 "Sticking" During Video Playback
#1
Ever since the update, I have found it impossible to watch a TV episode or movie without XBMC freezing at random intervals throughout the video. It's not just a case of buffering, the whole system locks up for several seconds at a time before resuming again.

I have downloaded the new Default.xml file as suggested elsewhere and that seems to have sorted the freezing during menu use, but not anywhere else. Has anyone else got this problem? I've not seen it mentioned in this way in any XBMC forum.

I am running XBMCbuntu 11.0 (Eden).

I have only had my little toy for a few weeks now although I managed to set everything up myself I am still finding my way with both XBMC and with the Linux platform, so be gentle with me.....this forum seems quite intimidating for a newbie!!

Thanks, will read up at the weekend when work doesn't get in the way. Steep learning curve considering a month ago I didn't even know XBMC existed!
