upgrading xbmc question
#1
I am currently running version 11.0 pre built on Feb 28. patched for HD audio bitstreaming
I would like to upgrade to the latest Eden version.
Do I have to "un-install " the old patched version before I update or can I go right over top of it with the new version.

I realize the wiki says you can go overtop but I was wondering because this is a patched version.

No one is going to stick out their neck and say 100% (a lot of factors to consider) but Eden 11 stable should just install over... you will lose your audio patches. Better still just rename your XBMC folders.... to XBMC_old (make sure you include the roaming XBMC directory too) and just install fresh.
