plugin dont work with my raspberry pi.
The system reboot each time i launch this plugin.
I take the last archive from alibaba011,
i don't see "default.py" file.
is anyone play dailymotion with raspberry pi?

3. default.py from post 212.

Alexcarter try my combination . I have raspberry pi 2 and leter i try my combination.

You must add source in file manager: /storage/ .kodi and find addons -> dailymotion.com there ist default.py.

Seaching and playing "Laurel Hardy Colour" video work for me . Did you guys tried @gates version posted above. Just replace the default.py from the url:

That should work too. Otherwise, you guys may be geoblock. or may be we could try use simplejson instead of json.

How can I connect to my account on DaliyMotion? There is no place to write the password.

I am back with a new issue and would like your expertise
I am trying to play a video which is by the band Yello and has most of their music videos. Just searched for "Essential Yello" in the addon

When I play this i get a message popup in the bottom right corner "Info: Dailymotion says Explicit content" and the video does not play.
I then followed the instruction on the first page to setup "family_filter_off" file in the userprofile addon data folder, but still it is giving the same message.
Can you please take a look and fix this minor issue

Okay, I have debugged the code and have fixed the problem. It now uses the family_filter_off option correctly. Here is the installable addon zip file for those who are interested

Lately I mostly got only 288p video from the addon. Not sure if it's addon problem or dailymotion problem.

Pink, the modified default.py posted by boscorelly in #212 fixed the problem for me.

Still doesn't work for me. The addon opens, the menus display properly, I can go to my users saved in "favourites" and select the shows I want. But when I press play it says "can't play video, check log".

Running kodi 15.2 on Windows 10
And kodi 16.0 on minix box (android)

DailMotion is no longer working for me. Exactly the same as described by "Pink" in Post 213 except that I am using Kodi 14.1.

Was perfectly OK a few weeks ago ~ any ideas, please?

but, i have no time to maintain it

will be great if someone could push it in the official repo.
