The timers section is one of the few remaining PVR things I can't test using the demo add-on.

How did you add dummy recordings? could you provide an example?

As the original package isn't completely up to date anymore, I updated and added some things and thought I'd share it on Git

Changes from original:
  • corrected the paths to be compatible with current XBMC
  • added dummy recordings
  • replaced the first tv channel (stream not working anymore)
  • added more of the available genre colors in the epg
  • added genre colors doc file

All credit to Jexx_X for putting it together, it has been a huge help to me and others I'm sure.

Ok, I'll look into making a PR later.

I was thing about that before , but as it's using a video from college humor and real TV / radio channel names I thought that might have some legal concerns?

I'll change the channel names, and look for an alternate videoclip.

Anyone know what format we need for PVRDemoAddonSettings.xml to get radio channels in Helix?

Thanks.

Can't get this working at all on Helix now.

Enable Live TV, get told to enable a PVR addon, enable PVR Demo, exit to home screen, no Live TV, check addon and it's been disabled.
