[Micro-ATX] A8-3850 BSOD Problems
#1

Hi all,

I got a HTPC made January 2012.

Heres the specs:
8GB-Kit G.Skill RipJaws PC3-10667U CL9
AMD A8-3850 APU mit AMD Radeon HD 6550D FM1 Boxed
Antec EarthWatts EA-380D Green
ASRock A75M, FM1, mATX
Crucial M4 64GB SSD
Silverstone SST-ML03B Milo Desktop
Win7 ultimate

It was going fine until recently. Xbmc then started crashing. Now its after going a step further and im getting BSOD when the HTPC is on for about an hour,
although the time can vary. Yesterday I unplugged a usb cable from it and it just powered off. Its becoming more frequent and im kinda at a loss what to do

The BSOD says: "a clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allotted time interval"
***Stop 0x00000101

SInce so many people here have made made cpus following the basic ideas set forward by Eskro I though here was a good place to start looking
for a solution

Any help is appreciated as Im pretty clueless here at how to fix it.

Thanks

Run a memory test with Memtest+86

Run from USB thumb drive...

http://www.memtest.org/#downiso

Download - Auto-installer for USB Key (Win 9x/2k/xp/7) *NEW!*

Test each stick by itself and see what happens. If one is good try it in the other slot as well.
