I'm noticing a lot of pre-built HTPC boxes these days many of which are geared towards XBMC (the Android ones).
I have an existing HTPC in my living room and thinking of building another for the family room using OpenElec for an appliance like feel.
The pre-built boxes seem to be about $100 or so whereas it'll cost be about $300 to build my own.
I will want to watch 1080p movies and have a snappy interface running the high-end skins (MQ4, Nox, etc.). No need for live TV or PVR though.
Will an Android XBMC box do this for me?
What's the main downside of these pre-built boxes?
Thanks
