Hi folks,

I am thinking to install xbmc on a Android tablet. Would anyone please recommend the tablet, thanks! I like the ASUS Transformer. What do you think?

I use a Nexus 7 and it works awesomely with NetFlix and XBMC,..and all for ~$250

Just remember that with most tablets you'll only get software decoding, which means 720 at best and much much lower battery life. Once hardware decoding is in for various (hopefully most) devices, both issues will improve considerably.

True that Ned: While XBMC is still ironing out the latest versions for improvements (battery consumption and such) on Android,...it still works well enough to watch a movie streamed via wireless. As far as 720p over 1080p,.....I guess I could care less about that on a 7-inch tablet.

In the mean-time: Netflix runs like a champ and will get me though until the last tweaks are ironed out for XBMC.
